NFL Coaching Hot Seat – Week 14

What NFL head coaches are on the Hot Seat?  Here are the Riggo’s Rag - NFL Coaching Hot Seat Rankings – Week 14.

Gary Kubiak (Houston Texans) – (2-11)  FIRED LW # 1

9.  Mike Smith (Atlanta Falcons) – (3-10)  I don’t think Smith should be on the NFL Coaching Hot Seat, but the record dictates that he is.  Although GM Thomas Dimitroff deserves more blame than smith for the Falcons thin roster.  LW # 9

8.  Rex Ryan (New York Jets) – (6-7)  Rex Ryan’s Jets got a big win in week 14 over the Raiders at home.  However, the task becomes daunting in Week 15 as they travel to Carolina to take on the Panthers.  LW # 8

7.  Jason Garrett (Dallas Cowboys) – (7-6)  The Cowboys were blown out on the road by the Chicago Bears 45-28, but they have a winnable game coming up at home against the Packers.  The Cowboys need to make the payoffs for Garrett to get off the Hot Seat. LW # 910

6.  Gus Bradley (Jacksonville Jaguars) – (4-9)  The Jaguars have won four out of their last five games, and if Bradley can win a few more, I think he’ll be safely off the hot seat.  LW # 6

5.  Greg Schiano – (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) – (4-9)  The Buccaneers got a nice win over the Bills in week 14 and have won four of their last five.  It seems as though the team may be buying into what Schiano is selling. LW # 4

4.  Mike Munchak (Tennessee Titans) – (5-8)  The Titans lost a tough one on the road to Broncos in week 14, and it gets no easier for Mike Munchak this week as they get a visit from the Arizona Cardinals.  LW # 7

3.  Dennis Allen (Oakland Raiders) – (4-9)  The Raiders lost on the road to the Jets and the next three games of the season will be a tough stretch for them.  Allen might not make it.  LW # 5

2.  Leslie Frazier (Minnesota Vikings) – (3-9-1)  Frazier’s Vikings lost a close one to the Ravens in week 14, and faces a tough test this week in the Eagles.  With tough matchups against the Bengals and Lions yet to come, the Vikings will be hard pressed to get another win.  LW # 3

1.  Mike Shanahan (Washington Redskins) – (3-10)  An ESPN Report rumored that Shanahan almost quit last season, and he is seemingly now trying to get himself fired by owner Dan Snyder.   Shanahan has benched quarterback Robert Griffin III for what he claims are safety reasons, and is starting backup Kirk Cousins.  It seems all but a formality that Shanahan will be fired.   LW # 2
