Pittsburgh Steelers  - 5-6

Baltimore Ravens  - 5-6

Steelers vs. Ravens.  The Baltimore Ravens were the darlings of the NFL just 9 months ago, winning the Super Bowl, and looking like a franchise that would continue its winning ways.  But that was last season, this season the Ravens have struggled with inconsistency on both side of the football.  But they still have chance at a winning season.

The Pittsburgh Steelers began this season looking one of the worst teams in the NFL.  However, they have rebounded as of late with a three game winning streak, and the offense seems to be coming to life.  Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has thrown seven TD passes and only one interception in the past three games.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, Ravens QB Joe Flacco appeared as though he had become one of the elite QB’s in the NFL. But this season he has regressed by throwing 14 interceptions including 5 in the past three games.  And also, the usually reliable Ravens rushing attack has been one of the worst in the league.

And offense if what Ii think this game will come down to.  That why the Steelers will win.  The fierce rivalry between the two teams will bring some hard-hitting and tempers flaring before it’s all said and done.  But in the end the Steelers offense will be too much for the Ravens in a game that could come down to the last possession.  Steelers win.

Score prediction:       23-21  Steelers

Points spread:      Ravens - 3

Over/under:  40 – over
