Oakland Raiders - 4-7
Dallas Cowboys – 6-5
Raiders vs. Cowboys. The Dallas Cowboys have been an up and down team for much of the season. One week they look great and the next week they look terrible. But they got a much-needed win on the road in week 12 against the New York Giants, and will look to have a Thanksgiving feast at home courtesy of the Oakland Raiders.
The Raiders have been better this season than most expected. They have been solid defensively and the offense hasn’t been too bad either. Quarterback Terrelle Pryor has had some nice moments this season, but with him out injured the focus has shifted to rookie QB Matt McGloin, and he’s played well in relief.
The good news for McGloin is while the Cowboys offense hasn’t been performing all that well, the Cowboys defense has been even worse, coming in ranked last the NFL. So the Raiders should be able to move the ball with some success. However, the Cowboys have a habit of playing well on Thanksgiving, and I expect that to continue.
The Raiders matchup well against the Cowboys, but I don’t think they’ll win. I think Cowboys QB Tony Romo and the Cowboys offense will have a good game, and the Raiders won’t have enough fire power to win. I do think it will be closer than some might think, but in the end I see the Cowboys coming out on top.
Score prediction: 28-24 Cowboys
Points spread: Cowboys – 9
Over/under: 47 – over
