Enemy Intel Report - Redskins vs. Broncos - part 1

Kim Constantinesco of answers five questions about the upcoming contest between the Washington Redskins and the Denver Broncos.  Redskins vs. Broncos – week 8, questions 1 and 2.

1) Coming off an emotional loss to the Colts, how do you think the Broncos will respond against the Redskins?

The Broncos should respond very well coming off of the loss. After this one, they’ll head into their bye week. They’ll give it all they have knowing that they have a break ahead. Who wants to go into the bye with a loss? With the loss to the Colts, the Broncos fell to second place in the division, so there’s extra motivation to keep up with the Chiefs. Even with all of the mistakes (three turnovers, lack of QB protection, etc.) that the Broncos made last week, they still had a shot to win it in the end.

2) Von Miller seemed a little rusty coming back from his suspension.  What kind of an impact do you think he will have on the game this Sunday?

Miller’s “rust” was due to the fact that he hasn’t hit anybody in six weeks. Yes, he put on 15 pounds of muscle and yes, his body was fresh, but his body isn’t conditioned for that kind of contact just yet. As the weeks go on, he’ll improve more and more. He still attracts a lot of attention when he’s on the field so that frees up guys like Shaun Phillips and Robert Ayers to get sacks. With RG-III so mobile and willing to hang onto the ball a little longer than other quarterbacks, I think Miller will get to him for a sack of two.
