Robert Griffin III made it clear his plans were to be ready by training camp and week one, today one of those goals were achieved, as Dr. Andrews cleared him to participate in Training Camp.
According to Griffin, Mike Shanahan and the team will ‘ease’ him in to ensure no setbacks occur for the second year pro.

This is great news for the Washington Redskins, who were flirting with the idea of having Griffin start Training Camp on the PUP list last week according to NFL Network.
While Griffin has been shattering any and all test that have been thrown at him during his rehabilitation process, don’t expect the Redskins to unleash him until close to the end of training camp, as there’s no real need to push him. With preseason a doubt for Robert Griffin III, the Redskins can afford to work him in much slower than they would if the start of the season was in the next few weeks.
The Redskins open Training Camp, Thursday, July 25th at The Bon Secours Center, their new Training Camp home in Richmond, Virginia.
