Post season scenarios for the Redskins

I know this NFC playoff picture is still a little blurry for a lot of fans out there. I’ve personally looked at about 10 different sources just to make sure that people weren’t trying to play tricks on me. After all of my research and questions, this is the final breakdown on how the Redskins can make the playoffs.

– BEAT DALLAS!!! This is my favorite of all of the options, because we control our own destiny. Win and we are in, it’s as simple as that. This win will also make the Redskins the NFC East division champions for the first time since 1999.

– Minnesota loss vs Packers – This match up could go either way. I’ve heard that Matthews could suit up for Green Bay, which would be huge in the effort of trying to stop Adrian Peterson from breaking Dickerson’s rushing record.

– Bears lose at Lions – “Da Bears” should win this game, however, when you are playing against a dude that they call Megatron, you can’t count them out. Detroit is at home and should want to end their season on a positive note.

Since the game has been changed to the prime time slot, the Redskins could have clinched at least a playoff spot before they take the field which would be huge! I personally prefer the drama involved with win or go home, but I want to see what we can do in the playoffs regardless of how we get there. The city will be hype all week with fans trash talking and representing their favorite team. Share this with your fellow Redskins fans if you can’t wait until kickoff on Sunday!
