Madden ’13 Update: Week 6 Redskins Roster Update

The latest Madden update is here. The typical roster moves and depth chart changes, as expected, were made. What I like to look for is are the upgrades/downgrades.

Some of the upgrades are well deserved.  Alfred Morris has gone from a 75 to a 79 in two weeks.  This won’t be the last of these upgrades for Morris as he continues to impress in his rookie campaign.  It only makes sense that Chris Chester, as one of the guys opening those holes for him was upgraded to.  Along these lines, Madden needed to correct for Ryan Grant being rated higher than the starting running back.  At least my beef with how Billy Cundiff and Alfred Morris was fully corrected, but a 75 for Scott Norwood’s look alike is still unbelievable.  Even with the down grade he is rated about 6 points too high. Below are the rest of the changes made on the Redskins roster.

Tyler Polumbus OL WAS Decrease, from 64 to 63OVR
Billy Cundiff K WAS Decrease, from 77 to 75OVR
Ryan Grant HB WAS Decrease, from 79 to 78OVR
Alfred Morris HB WAS Increase, from 77 to 79OVR
Chris Chester OL WAS Increase, from 78 to 79OVR
David Jones CB WAS Jersey change to #35
Brandon Meriweather S WAS Lowered on depth chart (injury)
DeJon Gomes S WAS Moved to SS #1 on depth chart
Billy Cundiff K WAS Released
Markus White LB WAS Released
Kai Forbath K WAS Signs
Mario Addison LB WAS Signs
