What the Redskins can expect against the Bears

The next Redskins preseason game is against the Chicago Bears. Chicago, known for their defense, will continue to live by this reputation. After getting outscored by the Denver Broncos, the Bears will be looking to try new defensive schemes against the Redskins, to confuse the rookie RG3 and subsequently improve their performance. The Redskins can expect several blitzes early on and for someone in the front 7 to always have their eyes on RG3.  This will be the first true test of Robert Griffin III and the Redskins offense to give a glimpse of exactly how much improvement has been made this offseason.

My prediction for this week’s game: Redskins score at least 24 points and hold the Bears to 10 points. RG3 will have 2 Touchdowns, 1 rushing.

Throughout the season you can expect a brief scouting report of each Redskins opponent, similar to this but more analysis of the 53 man roster.
