I like the player drafted...however do not like where he was picked. I feel there could've been another area addressed. There is always decent quality undrafted and I dont know what message was being sent to Griffin by drafting another QB so high in the same draft. Insurance? Maybe...but OL is an insurance policy also...so is RB, WR, TE. I understand and respect the pick just wouldn't have done it so early in the draft regardless if it were Andrew Luck sitting there. Hopefully he develops well enough to be #2 on the depth chart so we dont have to hold our breath every snap Rex takes!! Great read sir.

how is QB not a position of need? right now they have RG3 who looks INCREDIBLE on paper, but has injury risk and has yet to play a single down. and then there's rex. that's about as Iffy (and potentially great) as it gets in the league. Sure, they need O-linemen and CB's but why take those guys 102nd overall when you can find them in the later rounds or after the draft even? Shanny liked this guy, and I think its a position of need (at least during my lifetime). I love this idea, go out and make sure this position is COVERED and sealed with superglue in one draft so we don't have to worry about it for another two decades. seems good to me, I agree with you 100%.
