The folks over at Page 2 on ESPN.com have come across some of the new merchandise to be featured as part of Nike’s takeover as the sole provider of NFL Equipment and apparel. Reebok is the current provider and has been for over a decade. Nike will unveil the new line of merchandise for teams on April 1st, when they officially takeover. The “new” NFL uniforms for all 32 teams will be released on the 3rd of April. The NFL also apparently plans to have it’s new Nike apparel available at the Draft in New York on the 26th.
The only element of the Washington Redskins’ current uniform that is expected to change for 2012 is the Reebok “vector”, which will become the Nike “swoosh”. Below are a few examples that were acquired by ESPN from anonymous stores. Also, New Era will be partnering to provide new NFL headgear including snapback caps (also pictured).
