Per the twitter account of one esteemed “draft expert”, a Shawn Zobel.
I’ve been told that the Washington Redskins intend to make Vincent Jackson the richest receiver in the NFL tomorrow – @ShawnZobel_DHQ
I’m not exactly sure who told Mr. Zobel that, but I believe it to be true as well. The Redskins are possibly facing salary cap related actions from the NFL but likely will still have a good portion of their 2012 cap intact and ready for use come 4pm today. I believe the Redskins will try to reel in V-Jax with enough cash that he’ll feel comfortable playing through Robert Griffin III or Andrew Luck’s rookie season. I’ll go out on a limb and say 5 years/ $47 million. Sounds good to me. Until tomorrow afternoon Redskins fans, here is a nice highlight video I found on YouTube from a http://thevikingsworld.blogspot.com, but you can view it right below. Enjoy!
