Barnes is not a better CB than Westbrook or Thompson. However, Barnes is easily the 2nd best FS on the team and could potentially be a star there if they spent an offseason working him in there.

Doughty should be playing ILB, but I don't know if there is a tight end in the league he can cover. At least he'd be a league leader in tackles. Gomes will start at SS if no veteran is brought in and Atogwe is healthy at FS. As bad as Atogwe was last year, he and Gomes teamed up to be a huge improvement over the years where Doughty stepped in at FS.

Hall is a nickel CB at best. He can create turnovers, but not enough to validate what he gives up... If #2 CB were a dictionary term, Wilson's picture would be next to it in the dictionary.

Redskins two biggest needs on D are #1 CB and at least one good, healthy safety. Unfortunately, their needs all up and down the offensive side of the ball dictate that any D help in 2012 should come via free agency, as the OL needs 4 or 5 good players and the team needs a #1 and #2 QB. If the Redskins do their jobs and fill out the OL and QB position with young stars, DB will be the primary concern in the 2013 draft.
