The Redskins have made it no secret that they’ll be in the market for a playmaking wide receiver in free agency. Dwayne Bowe and Wes Welker are most likely going to be franchised, and DeSean Jackson already has been. Stevie Johnson seems to be on his way to a new contract in Buffalo, and Mike Wallace has been given a first-round tender. Those guys are out, so who’s left? Pierre Garcon fought hard and put together a good season on a miserable team last year. Marques Colston has had some injury issues, but he could help out immensely in Washington. Vincent Jackson’s talent is evident, but if he comes to Washington, and has a hard night of partying with Fred Davis, we could possibly lose two offensive weapons for a year. Mario Manningham’s numbers fell off a little last year due to the outstanding play of Victor Cruz, but he showed in the Super Bowl that he’s still a big playmaker. The Redskins could really use him, and it would be nice to weaken the Giants offensive attack in the same move. Of the remaining ‘big name’ wide receivers, who would you like to see in burgundy and gold?
