Is Mario Manningham the Redskins’ answer at receiver?

Manningham's catch won't be enough to keep him in New York - Brian Spurlock-US PRESSWIRE

Mario Manningham is “75% sure” he won’t be back as a New York Giant in 2012. This will possibly add yet another option for Washington to pursue as they look to bolster their receiving core. We’ve previously talked about potential free agents in Marques Colston, Vincent Jackson and Dwayne Bowe.

Manningham is most recently known for his amazing sideline catch in the Giants’ recent Super Bowl victory over the Patriots. Mario isn’t the tallest guy at six feet tall, but he’s show consistency in New York, so long as he’s healthy.

Two other potential options seem to have been taken off the table today with DeSean Jackson receiving the franchise tag in Philadelphia and Mike Wallace being given an offer sheet that would make absolutely no sense for the Redskins to sign.
