Redskins LaRon Landry to be placed on I.R.

The Washington Redskins will place star safety LaRon Landry on Injured Reserve list for the second straight season. Landry has been heavily bothered by a strained groin and Achilles tendon, which caused him to only play 8 games this season. Last year, Landry ended his season with the same injury, and was on pace for a career year and a pro-bowl. He expects to have surgery on his Achilles tendon this off-season. Landry had 43 tackles on the season and 1 forced fumble.
