Redskins sit atop NFC East

by Breaking News

It only took the Redskins two weeks to reach the top of the NFC East. With a Philadelphia Eagles loss just minutes ago, the Redskins are now 2-0 and 1-0 within the division and in sole possession of first place. The team is coming off an impressive 22-21 comeback victory against the Arizona Cardinals. The division from top to bottom reads, as of now: Washington, Philadelphia, Dallas and New York.

The Redskins will match up with Dallas next Monday night after their overtime victory versus San Francisco. Tony Romo suffered a fractured rib and Miles Austin strained his hamstring. There are also some talks about Dez Bryant being injured as of now.

The Giants take on St. Louis tomorrow night in what has been dubbed the “IR-Bowl” by a few stations.
