A quick thought on James Davis.
I was excited to see him join the team last year. I knew he had some speed and he “kind” of showed in the first meeting with the Giants last year. However, with the depth at the position this year it was pretty clear he would not be making this team.
When his number wasn’t called last week and he didn’t play versus the Steelers, he felt that this was it and walked. Not literally, but was said to be in Atlanta. If that was the case, I hope he finished school and got a degree because he will now have to enter the work force. No one likes a quitter, what does that show? It shows he doesn’t have what it takes to make it regardless of the competition.
Did you want that kind of guy on the team anyway?
