DeAngelo Hall "responds" to Carlos Rogers

D-Hall took to Twitter and wisely deflected comments at him with some pretty good choice word tweets:

What is your take? Let’s hear from you!

    1. Either Carlos Rogers is taking grammar classes or these quotes we’re getting are paraphrases.

    2. Hall is really working to shed his old image.

    3. Everything Rogers said about being a better cover guy is true, but he left out the fact that he’s also the guy who never makes the big play.

    4. If Rogers signs with division team, Redskins will throw at him all day, because no matter how good he is in coverage, you never risk more than a loss of down when throwing his way.

    5. If only the Redskins had someone with Rogers’ cover skills, Hall’s playmaking, and a high football IQ, they’d have a great defense. Oh wait, we had that twice…the first time we pramturely retired Darrell Green for a younger, more washed up Deion Sanders and the second time we gave away Champ Bailey and a 2nd rounder for an average running back who was himself only a 2nd rounder. Mike Shannahan needs to swindle back a CB the way he swindled away Bailey.

I never understood why corners always worried about being the #1 or #2 guy anyway. If you are a #1 Corner locked in on a #2 reciever then you should have an advantage and produce more right? As for the Redskins, they dont have #1/#2 they have RCB/LCB because last season D. Hall ranted about not being able to always be matched up with the oppositions best WR at all times regardless of their side of the field. Rogers isn’t a scrub but he isn’t a lock down corner. If he leaves I won’t lose any sleep, we can just develop these young boys who Im sure can get the job done at a similar level. I’d welcome Rogers back but wouldn’t be surprised if he leaves thinking that he’s a top 5 DB.

shannahan will never get that deal again b/c he doesnt have an idiot owner to trade with now that he’s working with him.
