Albert Hayensworth pleased “not guilty” in regards to his sexual hassasment suite filed against him in a DC court this week. He did so remotely. Haynesworth did not post, but his attorney did on his behalf.
But why was Hayensworth not here? He could be sentenced to a maximum 180-day jail sentence and a fine of up to $1,000 (I am sure he can handle that).
Haynesworth’s attorney explains:
“He’s not in Washington,” Bolden said, when asked where his client was Tuesday.
“He’s got every right to waive his appearance under the law,” he continued. “It wasn’t a decision. It was his right, and he exercised his right. Nothing wrong with that.”
