AUTHOR: | IN: A Closer Look | COMMENTS: None Yet

As of right now there probably isn’t a single Steelers fan (or any fan) within 2,000 miles of Pittsburgh that hasn’t heard Wiz Khalifa’s hit track “Black & Yellow.” There have been many remixes of this track by different artists to a different set of colors (i.e. Black & Purple for Ravens fans etc.). The pod casts will be up later but today marked a unique situation where these two were able to speak in person, perhaps since LaVar Arrnington’s departure from the team in early 2006. Of the topics discussed were of course the relationship between Arrington and the Redskins organization, the lawsuit by Snyder against the DC City Paper, and even the name “Redskins”. We will have more on this later!

Albert Haynesworth charged with assault

AUTHOR: | IN: Breaking News | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

According to the Washington Post, Albert Haynesworth has been charged with simple assault for a road rage incident in which he allegedly exited his truck and  struck a fellow driver after being shown a “non-verbal hand gesture” for tailgating. The episode occurred Wednesday morning, and involved a 38-year-old man driving a 1994 Honda Civic and another driver, allegedly Haynesworth, both driving south on the Fairfax County Parkway, Broderick said. The driver of the Civic reportedly felt that a pickup truck following behind him was tailgating, and issued a “non-verbal hand gesture” to the pickup driver, Broderick said. About 9:16 a.m., [...]
