I definitely agree that we all had no idea how bad things were and I know McNabb didn’t do anything all year. I just hope that in addition to the mistakes slowly going away, the Shanahan’s could just do a little bit better of a job to keep the drama level surrounding the skins a little lower going forward.

I think Grossman played better than McNabb in the second half for sure (first half was iffy you have to admit), there is no way to argue against that. I just know that he isn’t good enough to be the future QB of this franchise and it stings that the person who we thought would be obviously isn’t either. I’m in wait and see mode, if he puts up 30 against the Jags and Giants my mind might change a little but until then I am not going to be behind this silly Rex Grossman movement.

But the fact is in 13 games, McNabb never scored 30 points — never led long, sustained, consecutive TD drives — much less three. If Moss didn’t drop the late pass, we’d most likely be looking at a W. I think most of us underestimated the dismal state of this franchise, and how long it would take to repair it. Yes, mistakes have been made, but at least the coach has the stones to admit it, cut the losses, and move forward. At least for now, it looks like grown-ups are running the show — and that’s a huge step forward.
