The 4th Coal: The 3rd down botches remain

The Redskins are starting to run the ball effectively and you can clearly see the Redskins offensive line get into a rhythm. I guess you could call it that.

On the first 3rd down situation of the Redskins opening drive of the second quarter, they pitched to Keiland Williams for a first down.

Then on the very next third down they faced, they went shotgun and spread the field in an attempt to gain two yards.

In my opinion, the Giants are having trouble defending the Redskins when they are playing tight. By spreading the field, they opened the flood gates for the Giants and were forced to punt yet again.

Wonderful.
