Six. That’s how many games quarterback Brett Favre has left in him. After 299 regular season games with the Green Bay Packers, New York Jets, and Minnesota Vikings, he only has six remaining until he likley hangs up the cleats for good.
There is no doubt that if Favre could see into the future he would have opted out of a 20th year as a professional quarterback. An avalanche of scrutiny would have been avoided. It’s quite possible he may have avoided his recent “Sexting” controversy entirely. Perhaps the media would have let him leave the game in peace had he bowed out with dignity.
Instead Brett is having his worst season in his career, struggling to find the rejuvenated gunslinger born again last year in a Vikings uniform. The internal turmoil that has plagued Minnesota for years was not cured by a NFC championship appearance.
