Talent-wise, all Minnesota lacks is a consistent QB and NFL-caliber DBs. The reason they don't win games is that they lack toughness and will: Finesse team. In other words, they're the Cowboys of the North. This game makes me nervous, if for no other reason than the unpredictability of Minnesota's play calling this week and the potential that the team plays tough for the new coach, especially the defensive line and Peterson. However, even if they play tough for a change, turnovers should sink their boat in the end unless they jump to an early lead.

This game will ride on the Redskins O-line, which on paper is Williams (inexperienced), Brown (still not strong), Dockery(scheme-misfit), and a talent-even group of NFL-backup caliber players. Whoever manages to take the field for the line needs to ground out tough yards early and protect on third downs in order to build a two-score lead so that Favre throws up 20 or more passes in the second half, providing scoring opportunities for Hall and Buchannon in the second half.
