I have been blogging on the Redskins for over a year now, and with FanSided since February of 2010 andit has been a great experience.  Since I started writing for this site I have:

  • Fed-Ex Field Press Access
  • Full Training Camp Press Access with Player interview privileges
  • Player agent contacts to secure interviews
  • PR opportunities (and free schwag) in conjunction with the Redskins
  • Syndicated work on SI.com and CBS Sports
  • Broke a story about LaVar Arrington before the Washington Post.
  • Radio appearances

This is a non-paying position, however the benefits are great. You work would be included among this sites syndicated work and you and your name would be out there and credited for it.  Bigger opportunies are in the waiting, and I can attest to that.

Join this winning team featuring me and Jim Giddings, a former Riggo’s Rag writer now back with a vengence!

This year has been one of success.  I piloted this blog for less than seven months by myself and got more readership in that time frame than the site had in the three years since it has been up — combined! With a few more writers this blog will go through the roof and you will be breaking the news of your favorite team.

Interested inquires, please e-mail me at [email protected], subject line “Blogging Opportunity” and indicate which position you want to blog for.

Good Luck!
