Chris Cooley’s concussion is serious enough to drive him to see a Concussion Specialist. Furthermore, according to the Washington Post, Cooley has a history of concussions. He suffered three of them in college. What I find a bit ironic is that Cooley suffered his first pro-level concussion while wearing a helmet which is one of seven models being tested by the NFL to determine which helmet offers the most protection. You know what this week is, don’t ya? It’s Week 6 for most NFL teams and Week 5 for a few. Duh. Seriously though, the pretenders are starting to play like they have weights wrapped around their ankles, and the contenders are playing like they have a real sense of purpose. As the 4:00pm games start, there are five 4 and 2 teams in the NFC – the Giants, Eagles, Saints, Falcons, and Bears. Atlanta and Chicago lost today to get to 4 – 2; the others won to get there.
