Just to clarify. I didn't want to come across as cocky, even though rereading my answer to the question it does seem I did come across as cocky, but I do believe that the Lions will score a ton of points. Like I said before, the Lions have had two weeks to prepare for the 31st ranked defense in the NFL.Three of the six opponents the Lions faced before the bye ranked in the top ten in defense (Giants being 2nd, Chicago being 5th and Minessota being 6th). The Rams coming into the Lions game were only giving up 10.5 points. The Packers were far more healthy when playing against us and were a top ten defense at the time, so were the Eagles when we played them. Still, the Lions offense managed to put up 24.3 points per game in the past six games with our backup quarterback in there. With a fully healthy roster and two weeks of preparation,34 points is not too much to ask from this team.

The question really is how much the Redskins can score against an equally weak Detroit defense and whether or not the Redskins offensive line can protect McNabb.
