Redskins vs Bears: End of Quarter 3

Someone somewhere is praying, and guess what, they’re being heard.  Maybe it’s Sonny Jurgensen – twice he’s called for turnovers when the Redskins desperately needed them.  The first was a fumble by the Bears at the Skins’ 1.  The second was a pick 6 by DeAngelo Hall.  Up to that point in the second half, Chicago was out-playing, out-thinking, and out-running the Redskins.  Hall to the rescue.

How on earth can Bears’ fans believe their eyes?  They can’t, not on earth anyway.  Does someone up there hate the Bears?  Have the Redskins garnered divine favor?  What is happening in this game?  The better Chicago plays, the worse Washington’s offense plays, the better the score gets for the ‘Skins.

Okay, I’ll settle down.  After all, the Redskins’ offense hasn’t showed us anything so far this half.  They’ve only gained 17 total yards in the third quarter.  The defense needs a break.  My heart needs a break.  How ’bout yours?

Chicago has the ball on its 29.  17 to 14, Skins.
