Redskins v Bears: Chicago Out-matched with 10:09 To Go In First Half

I want to feel bad for Jay Cutler.  I can’t afford to, no one can.  The Bears are a big-play team.  That’s what the stats show.  They got a monster play on the Skins for their first and only touchdown.  Otherwise, their offensively line is as porous as news accounts have depicted it to be.   Chicago looks like the perfect offense for Washington’s 3-4 defense.  Picture perfect.  Just ask Mr. Cutler.

The Bears gained a net 10 yards at the end of the first quarter.  They had 0 first downs.  Ouch.  Only Redskins’ mistakes will cause them to lose this game.  They’re not making many.  Their first reverse of the day in the second quarter wasn’t too pretty.  Chicago shut down the running play to the right after that.  But just about everything else is working, including a 46-yard field goal by Gano.
