Albert Haynesworth’s late brother, Lance McCoy died late last week in a motorcycle accident.  Haynesworth was with his family the whole weekend and missed Sunday’s contest as well.  Teammates like Lorenzo Alexander dedicated their performance to their teammate who is grieving with his family.

Meanwhile, Haynesworth has taken place in a motorcycle memorial-ride and will be at a service for his brother which is scheduled for Tuesday.

The sound of hundreds of motorcycle engines echoed down Broadway Sunday morning as friends and family of Lance McCoy gathered for a memorial ride in his honor. McCoy’s brother, former Titans player Albert Haynesworth, lead the group to a service in Murfreesboro.”He wanted to have his final ride,” his father, Bobby McCoy told NewsChannel 5.

But they didn’t think that final ride would happen with a family in tears, prayers being lifted in his name and McCoy’s hearse leading the way for hundreds of bikers.

“That was my heart I don’t know, I am just hurting,” McCoy added.

Bobby McCoy also recalled his final words to his son last week, and he only wishes the biking enthusiast would have listened to his advice.

“I said ‘Lance, slow it down before somebody scrape you off the pavement.’ He said ‘I got it.’ I said ‘Lance, be careful’ and that was the last time I talked to my son,” said McCoy.
