The first quarter was a slight improvement from last week as the Redskins were able to convert two possessions into two quick scores. The problem was no TDs. After the Texans committed a turnover, their second drive, they went down the field with ease.
The Texans moved the ball with a mix of passes and runs. The early score to Jones seemed like the Texans would be making it a long day for the Skins. Instead on the very next possession, McNabb went deep to Galloway. That was followed by a quick score to Clinton Portis.
Next, the defense started making stands. A three-and-out, sacks, constant pressure. The Redskins defense was clearly dictating the pace of the game.
On the very next drive for McNabb went deep to Davis and once again, Porti punched it in.
Things are looking for so far.
