Albert Haynesworth failed his conditioning test for the second day in a row. The team had practice today at 8 a.m., and Haynesworth arrived prior to complete his test.
Last night Mike Shanahan said that he Haynesworth could not practice until he pases the “test”. That was the case today. Haynesworth was not able to complete the first portion of the test (details below) and did not even attempt the second leg.
This is the test: two 300-yard shuttles(25 yards back and forth touching the ground at each turn) and he must do it in 70 seconds or less. He has a two-minute break.
Haynesworth took a longer break in-between yesterday. Thus he was made to start over and failed. This morning he was said of have clocked in at 71-seconds and failed.
This may seem like the coaching staff is exerting a bit of “revenge” on Haynesoworth or they are getting him in shape. Later today we will weigh in the sides.
