I think the issue with our two 3rd yr WRs wasn't their lack of talent, but the poor play calling and execution under the prior coaching regime. We kept hearing they "werent' ready." Well, Fred Davis "wasn't ready" until Cooley got hurt, and we had to play him. We know how that worked out. The only way to get ready to play in the NFL is by playing in the NFL. I think Kelly and Thomas will have a very good season this year. (fingers and toes crossed) My area of concern is the kicking game. Why was that not addressed in the offseason? We have some decent kick and punt returners, but the folks doing the actual kicking are a bit of a mystery to me. Are they up to it? Can they win a game in the 4th qtr? Can they pin an opponent inside their 10 yd line late in the game? Anybody have similar concerns?
