Blood On Carroll’s Hands?

Pete Carroll has been a huge player in USC’s success over the last several years.  Multiple BCS Bowl games and numerous wins have made him a legend in Southern Calofornia.  With the latest developments of the lack of ethics practiced by the school and athletic department, should Carroll be responsible for what has transpired? Carroll himself spoke his mind:

“I never thought there was any facts that supported these significant sanctions that were put forth,” Carroll said.  “The primary issue throughout the process was did the University know?  The University didn’t know, we didn’t know.  We were not aware of any of these findings.”

Sounds fishy to me how he all of a sudden leaves, and is succeeded by another coach who is used to being lame duck.  Yes, I am calling Lane Kiffin a lame duck coach.  Before he even coaches his first game, the school is being striped of 30 scholoarships, and will not attend a bowl game within the next two season.  If you ask me,  someone was tipped off.

Was Pete Carroll directly involved with USC's questionable ethics?
