It has now been reported that Santana Moss is indeed a client of Anthony Galea. This is untimely news as he is still recoving from having his knee drained and he is currenly participating in OTAs. However, no charges would be brought against him for his involvement with Dr. Galea.
Meanwhile, the U.S. attorney responsible for the prosecution of Dr. Galea said Wednesday that none of his patients will face charges. “At this juncture, any of the persons who are alleged to have used these substances are considered witnesses, and not targets, of this investigation,” William J. Hochul told the Buffalo News. Hochul declined to comment on whether information regarding patients would be shared with the NFL and other professional sports leagues.
Now the question is, “how will the league weigh in”? Brian Cushing, Houston Texan and Defensive Rookie of the Year, is being suspending four games for his use of illegal substances.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Texans linebacker Brian Cushing has been suspended four games for violating the NFL’s policy on anabolic steroids and related substances.
Santana Moss appears to be the same size as he has always been. This visit may have been one to help make his recovery come along faster. In any case, the use of this substance is illegal, and he needs to face the music(whatever it is) just like anyone else.
