Eric Berry made news today in Redskins Nation. Many experts, who ended really not knowing anything, were predicting and even sure that the Redskins were going to select Eric Berry. I knew this was going to be perceived as a bad move for the Redskins by the fans and the media, but would it have been really that bad?
Here was the scouting report on him:

This is an impressive skill set. The highlight videos are phenomenal, and he would have been a star in our defensive backfield. Thought not as big as Sean Taylor, I feel he would have been a quite the ball hawk, if not better. So why are we talking about him in retrospect? Because he wasn’t selected, and will always go down in Redskins lore as a great “what if”.
