More to the point, a wide reciever thats basically a 1 year wonder won’t be worth what his compensation would ask, yes he has a long great career ahead of him but also know who had faith in him beforehand and will continue to develope him(this is why we dumped T.O.)But yes he is valuable to the organization and will get a long term deal eventually

Seriously, where’d you hear R. Williams wants a new deal? He knows he hasn’t gelled and had a comfy(overpayed) guaranteed contract. You go ahead and sign has beens (LJ WP DMcnabb) and wonder why you continue to fail. You had a young QB behind a bad line, someone that could run, now you have an older QB that as the last 3 games of last year showed can’t run, and a worse offensive line. He will be murderized..admit it, you know it will happen.

As always, it’s about the money. Now that he’s a star, we’ll see how he plays this year under a bit more pressure. Not practicing with the team certainly won’t help.
