Now for the first time since Gibbs I, they really are built for the 4-3, and, they're going 3-4? Strange...to me Carter for Carriker would signify a 2-3 year rebuilding plan to fit the 3-4...Next year they'd probably replace Fletcher, Blades, and McIntosh. Haynesworth would probably have to go in 2012, if not 2011. I think they'd be better off to leave the Defense in the 4-3 for the next two years while they put together some new pieces and draft players in 2011 and 2012 for a 2012 3-4 transition. They certainly need to spend all of their relevant 2010 picks on OL. That analysis is just unbelievable. First, Carriker is not a linebacker. He's about 300lb. He'd play end for the Redskins if they go to the 3-4 as expected. Second, Carter isn't a 'physical' DE, he's an undersized pass rusher. Third, the Redskins actually need linebackers pretty badly. They have basically one good player who's a fit at OLB in the 3-4. Carter is the right size for the job, he just sucks at it, hence Carter's and the team's unhappiness about the situation. Wow. That analysis is just unbelievable.
