On Redskins.com there’s a poll which asks What’s next for the struggling Redskins? At this point, over 9,000 responses have been received. Check out the numbers to-date. 19% think starting Todd Collins is a good idea.

Fans Want Change
The other 81% didn’t exactly support Jason Campbell, as he wasn’t mentioned on the poll. Collins was matched up against I want change; Be patient; and I don’t know. Given the fact Campbell is still the quarterback of the Washington Redskins (i.e. the depth chart hasn’t changed), a vote for Collins is a vote for change. So, 75% of respondents want change, 19% have no answers, and 6% are willing to be patient. I suspect the ratios would hold up if there had been 20,000 responses. Change we’ve been given, and more change we will get. The question is, is there a plan?
Was just searching for the right word to describe the Washington Redskins football team . . . I’ve got it, Putratrocity!!! It fits for the special kind of suckage this team seems to be engaged in on a week-by-week basis. Good thing Snyder spent all of that money on this team – they couldn’t even beat the Div II Chiefs – what a stupid fool!!!
October 19th, 2009 at 3:16 pmIf Dan Snyder really cares about the REdskins as he claims then “take one for the team Snyder” and SELL! Sell to someone who knows how to keep his mouth shut, let people who know HOW to coach a football team coach, and just pay the bills. He reminds me of a bunch of other people in Washington who seem to keep throwing money at problems and just keep creating more!
October 19th, 2009 at 9:43 pmI don’t think he even needs to sell. He just needs to step back from the decision making process. Hire a GM with experience and credentials and stay out of the way. That’s it.
October 20th, 2009 at 12:09 amI agree with Guy on this, but emotionally, I’d love for Dan Snyder to sell the team. I know Mr. Snyder wants to create a winner, and has put his money where his mouth is. But you have to wonder if he’d let a General Manager do his job even if he did hire one.
October 20th, 2009 at 12:14 amThere’s no guarantee the next owner we get will be any good either. The next owner could try to move the team, change its name, or be really stingy with money. I’d rather stick with the guy who has the money and is willing to invest in the team. He can, at least theoretically, change his behavior. His problems are fixable. The Redskins owner is a problem, but Oakland, Detroit, Cincy, and Cleveland all would probably argue that there are worse things out there than Dan Snyder.
Besides, he’s not going to sell. I think it’s a long shot that we’ll even get a real GM, but at least that’s not completely out of the question.

October 20th, 2009 at 11:55 pm1. GM: Ron Wolf. If he won’t, use him to find one.
2. Cower or Billick as coach
3. Wear burgundy jerseys at home with GOLD pants.
Mark – yea, that would be nice.
October 21st, 2009 at 12:58 amWe should fire the owner. I’m sick and tired of a loser. We can force him to fire himself by boycotting the games and not watching on TV.
