Chiefs-Redskins: End of 3rd Quarter

You had to wonder if this was coming.  Jason Campbell was pulled in favor of Todd Collins.  Collins promptly completed a bomb to Santana Moss, but the Skins had to settle for 3 points.  After the Redskins held the Chiefs, Portis ripped of a 78-yard run.  That was the longest run of his career.   But alas, the Skins had to settle for 3 points again after having a 1st down at the Chiefs’ 11.  After the Skins’ kick-off, FOX encountered technical difficulty.  The broadcast went off the air.  Nice.

Kansas City’s receivers have dropped several balls.  That said, Cassel put several completions together and moved the Chiefs deep into Skins’ territory.  However, he was sacked for the 4th time.  The Chiefs hit a 46-yard field goal to tie the game.

The quarter ended with the Redskins having a 1st and 10 at their 39.  Redskins and Chiefs tied at 6.
