Chris Samuels may have to Retire after Injury to Spine

The Football Gods have apparently seen fit to kick us while we’re down. According to an ESPN Report,  Redskins Left Tackle Chris Samuels could miss the rest of the year and may even be forced to retire after suffering a stinger last week in Carolina.   Details are sketchy, but the article makes reference to the fact that Samuels suffers from Stenosis, which is described as “a narrowing of the spine.”  Presumably that condition may complicate his ability to recover from his recent injury.  I have a bit of firsthand experience knowing what it’s like waiting for important medical test results to come back, so I absolutely sympathize.  Hang in there Chris.  All of Redskins Nation are pulling for you!
