Redskins - Lions: Early 4th Quarter

He who controls the clock, controls the game.  Well, maybe not.  Well, maybe.  Heck, I don’t know.  This edition of the Redskins defies convention.  Fortunately, they’re playing a Lions’ team which, while not making many mistakes, had committed a couple of strategic penalties.  Jason Campbell, meanwhile, has had trouble holding onto the ball.  He’s only turned it over once, but he’s nearly done so a couple more times.  It’s enough to make a die-hard fan crazy.

The Lions are up 13 to 7, but Campbell has given them some life.  He scrambled for over 15 yards on a gimpy ankle.  You gotta love it.  Time to watch – Portis just had a nice gain.  The Skins are breathing some hope into this game.

I’m a diehard skins fan and they are driving me so crazy that I may not be able to watch them anymore this season. The lack of emotion from the team as a whole boggles my mind. I just want to see the coach lose it just once to show that he is alive. Can someone tell me what was Campbell doing in the off season? He looks even more under developed than his first year. I wonder if the whole “lets trade him when he’s not looking” thing has to do with his lack of being able to read the Defense. I’m sure of three things when it comes to the Redskins…1 The tickets prices are too high for the type of performance from the Skins…2 Teams who play them develop a great since of confidence and never has a fear of losing to them…3 If I was a pro-bowl player looking to get paid, I’d call Dan Snyder!

sounds like portis has bone spurrs on both ankles? cambell kinda reminds me of tavarias jackson and the viking situation? maybe the vet off the benchis the answer for now? the D seems to be playing well? maybe it’s the running game? that is always he place to start.
