Good things come to those who wait, or so the saying goes. That’s a good thing, because I have rarely been as frustrated watching a game as I was today during the first half. I didn’t know who to be mad at, frankly. The Head Coach and the Quarterback came to mind, but the Skins weren’t playing well as a team. So, I waited, and guess what? The Redskins threw the ball deep enough for Moss to run it into the end zone. The problem is, the Redskins’ defense has been on the field so much in this game those guys have to be worn down.
The Lions are winning 13 to 7. The Redskins stopped them, established the momentum they needed, and wham – an uncharacteristic interception. Now the Lions have the ball in Redskins’ territory. Haynesworth is playing, but he’s definitely hurting. The defense has to come up big. The Skins cannot afford to give up a touchdown here.
