wvmike55 – what can I tell ya? I appreciate your opinions, and am confident they’re shared by many. It’s not that we at riggosrag don’t have the guts to call it like it is. It’s that I saw a lot of good in this game and am convinced that many NFL teams need until week 4 to establish their respective personalities. As for the play calling in the red zone – was it that or was it the execution? Check back after the Lions’ game. We’ll see which one of us moves toward the other’s position.

I chalk this game up to poor quarterbacking once again,poor play calling in the redzone, and DeAngelo Hall should be cut because he refuses to tackle anyone,
I am sick of excuses. There are young quarterbacks in this league that make JC look like a college only quarterback.When will you guys grow some and call it like it is.I don’t care about his stats I’m concerned about JC’s continual mistakes and bad decisions and extreme slowness(passing,decisions,presence).This guy no matter how nice will never be a good enough to be a starting quarterback on any other team in this league except ours,
Sonny stated to Zorn had he made that call with the halfback pass in the redzone Sonny would of called a time out and told him your paying me to throw the ball.Zorn who couldn’t have carried Sonny’s jock strap would of benched him. If Zorn wants to die on the vine with this quarterback so be it.Remove them both,because the redzone play calling was ridiculous.
WE DON”T have a strong enough line nor back to power into the endzone,and we did nothing in the off season to fix that.
Santana Moss has clearly lost a step and should be replaced by Randle El.
On the positive,the defense is ok.
Deangelo Hall and Doughty and the rest back there with exception of Horton don’t remotely come close to Shawn Taylor(a great loss).
Cooley and Randel El look solid the rest are average at best on offense.
On defense the line looks good not great yet and London Fletcher is all pro in my opinion
I love the Redskins but until we get someone that is a proven football person to buy the groceries and use some common sense in assessing talent and pay levels we will never get back to the playoffs and superbowl.
Dan Snyder might as well be flushing his money down a sewer drain.
Get some guts and start telling these guys they aren’t earning their pay!!
