Snyder just can't keep changing his mind on head coaches, it's not right for the fans or more importantly the players. But aside from that, I hope he sticks around, at the least for continuity's sake. The problem in my humble opinion is that he was building off Gibbs' antiquated smashmouth system, which doesn't work as well nowadays when you regularly have 300 lbs guys on both sides of the line. Combine that with Snyder's penchant for bringing in big-name playmakers rather than building the offensive line, you're just asking for trouble and injuries. The question we should be asking is why did we succeed when we did and what changed? I think it goes back to the line & smashmouth football. 30 carries a game is one thing, but when most of them are straight down the gut, & Portis is also blocking, of course it'll take a toll. For a good power-running game, we really need to 2 RB's like NY. I guess I'd only blame Zorn in not developing more weapons in utilizing Betts and getting in the rookie recievers more. Really we just need a stable o-line surrounding Rabach & ideally another decent runner.
