Thanks DD. Tuesday is the big day, so wish us luck. We don't anticipate anything serious but surgery is never without its risks.
Let's hope we have better luck than my team did.
*knock on wood*

The thing is, Portis isn't the one who spouted out. He was reacting to comments Zorn made about Portis not being prepared for the game. I don't have all the facts, but from where I'm standing, Clinton Portis is not the problem. Clinton Portis has been solid and has been working his tail off. Clinton Portis has been playing hard (and well) while injured. I'd be pretty pissed off too if I were him.

Personally, I figured that he was benched because he's been hurt for weeks and what the hell is the point in putting an injured running back out there when you're missing half your line, down by two scores, and you're not going to be able to run very much anyway? Why not just say that instead of calling out your star and pointing fingers? Better to save him for the final three games than to get him more beat up in a game that's already pretty much a lost cause anyway.

It's funny to see how the Mayflower Midnight disaster shaped different lives in such different ways. Some join the next closest "home" team and become Redskins fans. Some refuse to be a fan of any team that's not in Baltimore and become very bitter Ravens fans. Some scatter across the globe and land various other teams (the Titans?!? How the heck did that happen?). It just makes you stop and think.
There but for the Grace of God...etc etc etc.

Instead of hating eachother for our differences we should unite in our common hatred of the Irsays. Down with Indianapolis! Down with that bum John Elway who thought he was too good to play in Baltimore! They're the ones we should hate! They're the ones who scarred our childhood!

I read the Sun pretty much every day online and thought it was pretty awesome that a fellow Fansided blogger was mentioned in my "home" paper.
I am a product of post Colts Baltimore and, while I have thoroughly rooted against the Redskins my entire life, I agree that this "rivalry" exists more for Ravens fans than it does for Redskins fans (or any of the players involved). The same thing probably goes for Indy too. All that said, I'm still childish enough to care a little bit more about this one than most, and look forward to a 27-13 Ravens' victory.
Congratulations, again, for being in the Sun. I hope I'm happier on Sunday Night than you are.
