Stealing From Oakland

I don’t mean to add insult to injury but it seems the Redskins got more than just DeAngelo Hall from the Raiders.  If you go back and decipher the trade between Atlanta and Oakland this past off-season you will see that the Raiders gave up a 5th and a 2nd round pick for Mr. Hall.  Flash forward to draft day when the Redskins traded out of the 21st pick with Atlanta for two 2nd rounders.  Well it turns out that pick was used on rookie Devin Thomas.  What does that all mean?  Well the Skins now have Hall and Thomas which all cost them little to nothing, while the Raiders are left with nothing and are out 8 million dollars which was given to Hall.  Say it with me, its like taking candy from a baby.  Seriously though how in the hell is Al Davis still in the position he is?  The guy keeps doing everything he can to screw up that franchise, one can only wonder where they would be without him.

I will give credit to Al for getting one thing right, he did draft my high school friend Trevor Scott in the 6th round and so far Trevor is playing beyond expectations.  He has 3 sacks this season including 2 against Brett Favre in an OT win versus the Jets.
