Oh well, we knew we weren’t going 16 games without an offensive turnover. But Chris Cooley’s fumble was especially disappointing because we were putting together a nice drive and Cooley was clearly pretty much stopped when he just tried too hard to make an extra yard.
Tony Saragusa is getting on the Skins for not taking enough shots downfield. But that was exactly what we were doing before Cooley fumbled, so I don’t expect it to be a problem. Look for us to set up the stop and go with Moss on the next drive, and use it in the 3rd quarter. Also, we have to feed Cooley so he doesn’t lose confidence. Cooley is an emotional player.
One last thing, look for Antwaan Randle El in the second half. He’s been quiet, but as injuries mount to the secondary, they have to put more and more attention on Moss and El should benefit.
