…the refs are morons. So we’re really losing 14-9.
Still, win or lose (and right now, it looks like we have a really good chance since we’re starting with the ball), this team is showing remarkable strength on the road. Campbell leading us to a TD when we started on our three was fabulous. The FG drive to end the half was a little clunky, but hey, it did the job.
This game may come down to whether we can get a TD somewhere in the second half. If we keep settling for FGs, it is likely to be a slightly higher version of my earlier prediction. I have faith, and I’m thrilled with the play of Rogers/Smoot and Blades stepping in for Washington and Springs. Rogers does need to make that INT that bounced through his chest, but it was coming in really hot.
Anyway, I’m proud of the team taking that first shock from Philly and coming back strong. Let’s hope the accumulated injuries don’t tell the tale in the end.
