The Rag Around the Blogosphere
As you probably know, the Rag is a part of the Fan-Sided network of blogs. And in exciting news for the FSB, we have partnered with Yardbarker to be the sole provider of their NFL previews. You can find all 32 previews (including mine) here. I can tell you this, some of our division rivals (I won’t say which one, but it rhymes with Jeff Feagles) have delusions of grandeur.
And as long as I’m already a star on more than one site, I should tell you that I did this week’s power rankings on our Fan Sided mainsite. You can find those here.

Did anyone catch the Skins and panthers game I heard it was pretty close.

Dave and I are both recovering from our annual fantasy football binge weekend after spending time geeking out and preparing for said event. I’ll try to get something posted tomorrow and I’m sure Dave will have a lot to say when he resurfaces. Sorry for the drought; we’ll be back soon. Promise!

August 26th, 2008 at 9:47 amI work at a newspaper in the northern VA area (same one as thelandryhat actually) and I was taking calls in sports that night and some hillbilly called me up and asked what the score was. I told him it was 40-something to 3 and he said “all right! who scored for us.” It was somewhat gratifying to tell him that it was actually the panthers that did all the scoring.
It was a bad night for you guys, but I say it’s way better to get all of those nights out of your system before the season starts. I’m sure Zorn is in the middle of a pretty tough week of practice with them right now.
On a side note, I was glad to see that Jason Taylor wasn’t hurt too bad. He’s always been one of my favorite players and I wouldn’t want him seriously hurt at this stage in his career, no matter what team he played for.
